Note: The calculation of handicaps do not fall under the rules process.
HANDICAP CALCULATION
1. Handicaps for existing players are determined at the first full meeting of the General Committee after the A.G.M., using the following guidelines:
a. Performance during the previous season based on percentage of frames won using the following tables:
b. Number of league matches played in the previous season.
c. Average handicaps over the previous three seasons.
d. Progress in handicap events in the previous season.
2. Handicaps for new players are agreed by the club representatives at the first full meeting of the General Committee after the A.G.M. Handicaps for players returning to the game after more than one season’s absence will be agreed in the same way, using their handicap history as a guide.
3. The handicaps to be published in all participating clubs.
